I think it is related to the printhead ribbon. There are no marks and the prints still look great, just a new noise that we are not use to. I will also call our dealer Monday when he is open, can not hurt. Any other comments/suggests would be helpful. Thanks!

Thanks to everyone that helped us resolve the problem with the SP 300. It was the capping stations, replacing them we have been able to open up all the nozzles and we are printing away as good as ever. Thank you, thank you, Thank You!!!

How hard is it to replace the dampers?

Does anyone know how to tell if the dampers are bad?

The machine is 3 years old and I have never replaced the capping stations, do have them coming tomorrow. Hope they are easy to replace.

Tried High Impacts suggestions and it is improving but still not completely back, will keep at it.
