I do not think UPS will ever have to worry about what the damage is, they usually deny claims claims based on "improper packaging" 1st.....I never insure shipments......I charge clients for insurance and then "self insure".....I am sure over the years I am 100s if not 1,000s of $s ahead.....
www.lynda.com is okay......But I found the great variety available on Youtube suited me best...Often you get many different spins on the same topic.....
IMO if you are catering to a Canadian market, you lose something by having a .org domain....However, you do host in Canada which gives you a little edge over sites that host in other countries.....IMO Google.ca favours Canadian IP addresses over elsewhere....
I submit all my orders by email so IMO email is not the problem.....It is lack of detail....Many suppliers have detailed instructions on how to submit a PO....So make up a checklist...
10% royalty is nothing compared to the "boatload" of money you can make....Margins is some products is 60% to 90%.....Look at the price on NFL anything and compare it to a "nothing" anything at Walmart and you will see what I mean....
The term "die cut graphics" drives me nuts....But it seems to be in very common use.....
PS....It also bugs me when some folks call stickers decals......lol.....
This is a little off the point.....But how many folks have some redundancy in their equipment? For the OP it seems he is putting all his eggs in one basket by not having backup equipment...And in this case he has incurred extra expense and lost revenue....Those 2 things will often pay for extra...
