Looks nice. How was the 970RA to work with? I have been using 3M 1080 for all the matte black wraps I have done. It is easy to work with and lays down really nice. How much does the 970ra run? Looks really good.
I had the same issue with mine with contour cutting. The X axis was off by .364". Sign warehouse wasn't a huge help but I did get it figured out. I got some information on how to calibrate it if you want I can email it over to you.
I use Oracal 3165 w/ a gloss or matte lam (oracal 210) for outdoor decals. Sometimes if you contour cut it is hard to weed but they seem to hold up well and look good.
Wow, All great help!!! Thank you everyone. GG your set up looks so nice and clean. Thanks again for the picture. That is a great idea and I may look into it. I spoke to a friend and he offered to help weld me up a steel table on casters. I may do that with a wood top and cutting mat...
I don't have all the tools to build up a table. I will check out a surplus furniture store and some local auctions. I keep searching craigslist but I am not sure what to search under. I have tried work table/ industrial table/ cutting table/ upholstery table. All of them usually just bring up...
Hello, I am looking to get a larger work table. Something like a 4'x8' or a 5'x10' as my main cutting table. I have been using a small 6 footer and have outgrown it quick.
I used to use some upholstery tables but I can't find them anywhere locally. Does anyone have any ideas on where to...
Thanks for the replies. I will run the same size media as the lamination and try that. I am webbing it the same as the above PDF file but on roller #4 in the illustration mine goes from underneathe and not above. It isn't providing much tension this way. If you are looking at the...
Thank you for responding. I did make everything forward wound so I am good on that part. Is Kraft paper considered backing paper? It seems like the laminate sticks to that or should I be using something different?
Hello, I am new here and need some advice from the pros. I have tried contacting Sign Warehouse but haven't gotten anywhere and I need to get the laminator up and running.
From what I have read I need to have Kraft paper so it doesn't stick to the lower rollers. I have 50" laminate with 48"...
It took me about 10 hours to do the job. I messed up the hood initially and went back and did it over again. I am from California and the price I paid I think is pretty reasonable from what I have seen. I am not sure how much I ended up using. I still have a fair amount left over. The...
I just did my personal shop car in Matte Black 1080 Scotchprint. I paid somewhere around $590 for a 60"x25yd roll. It was well worth the money and very easy to work with once you get it down. This was my first complete wrap and it turned out very nice. I have 2 other people lined up for...
