I think the best way to suck ink in the JV33 head is by pressing membrane on damper (with open valves) sometimes it take 50 - 100 times but for me is most efficient.

You should check priority on the cutter.It should be set on ploter not on host, maybe you get the settings from finecut or other program that you are using. Also check Up speed that is the speed when cutter is not making a cut but moving media back and fort.

What is the Avery code? All Avery NV series have imprinted backing. I have seen some very good results on those materials and on Dusted glass vinyl also. I have also print on economy Avery 546 silver metalic and get great results.

You can use ink for 60 days after expire date. After that printer won't recognize cartridge. For me the biggest problem that 15 % of ink is always remain in the cartridge when chip counter comes to 0.

I think self reseting chips are good but you can't use them on machine with the newer version of firmware. It goes up to 5 it wont work on 7.4 firmware for sure. And they cost around 35 Eur.+ Cartridge
