  3. Using Heatpress to Hem Banners

5 seconds every 20 inches for me turn up the heat and you could just press for 2 seconds and move on. Just a quick solution for me instead of buying a 1200 dollar hemmer thats only 24 inches anyways I'm not saying buy a heatpress just for this. I already had one just added another perk to...

  12. Watch out for these guys

It still takes the actual printer some work in the color management dept while printing. This company that you are bashing might have printed 3 of these and lost all profit before even being frustrated and sending them out the door. Which they probably should not have done if you provided the...
  13. Watch out for these guys

Looks like you need to hit that "soft proof" button while your checking the size as well. No sweat same thing just happened to me an "artist" just sent me some AI files in 3 color ranges- RGB CMYK and SPOT. Sent to print and everything came out super dull and really off. Tried...
  14. My left arm for a good employee....

Truth is you could be breeding or training bad employees. Since we are in dog metaphors. Pretend for a day and go fill out some applications and see how you get treated. Here Fill this out and go F' yourself. Then they call you back and your expecting yes I get to work with giant...
  15. My left arm for a good employee....

One of the biggest things you can do to encourage great employees and behavior is NO different than training a dog...reward NOT punishment. your yeller. you sound scared other people have thoughts and perform actions. Ask them how they felt they did so you can condiscendingly patronize...
  16. Do you leave your printer on 24/7?

My vj1204 is set to sleep mode on its own. Sleep mode stops the fan and heaters as well. Turned off every night though because I do not want to crease the rollers leaving them down. It is also set on a cleaning schedule on its own. Some days I do a test print and cleaning just for ease of...
  17. Matte Black 2005 Cadillac STS

It was about 70 degrees out and the door was open so not sure of humidity. I post heat very generously. All areas even flat. Also saw some lifting on front bumper appearing on a not so concave area..:banghead: I notice not customer but I showed him. Customer is still very happy and...
  18. Matte Black 2005 Cadillac STS

Was very easy to use and easy to stretch. Felt much thicker than what I'm used to which was a little weird on door handles. The glue seems to separate very easy from back so if you lay something down make sure it is correct the first time. If you need to pull a section up you might leave glue...
  19. Matte Black 2005 Cadillac STS

Yes it lifted. That was the second round on that trunk. Took 3 to complete. 1st one was perfect and stretched then customer didn't want the STS symbol there anymore, so we cut around it at 1st, (no likey) then, removed it and re-wrapped. In the end I did a relief cut on the trunk above...
