  1. Logo Critique

Here is my initial logo concept for a dance studio. Several things I know need work even if the customer were to say it's perfect. I want to see what you all have to say, and then I'll go from there in conjunction with customer suggestions. :thankyou:
  2. font help please!!!!!!

    Makes me think of Clarissa.
  3. Does anyone do regular printing as well?

Litho. Seems more likely that a litho company would succeed expanding into wide format digital than the other way around.
  4. Banner Sales Volume

Lots and lots of the pop-up banners lately. Nice margins on these things!
  5. Got my soldier home last week.

    :thumb: Glad to hear it!
  6. Tape Residue On Rolls

Thanks guys. I think I'll try the Perfect tear tape. I would use transfer tape, but I write details on it and re-use the "label" over and over.
  7. Tape Residue On Rolls

What you guys use on your rolls of vinyl to keep them "shut". Everything leaves a residue that I'm quite sick of. I've tried different kinds of tape and Photo-tex types of products, and nothing works without leaving residue. A bunch of huge snap-bracelet type things would be nice.

You're right - that font was a terrible choice!

I was organizing some messy folders and thought I'd post this one. It's not a job, just fun label for my in-laws. I've been designing a lot of neckers and coupon pads as of late, but I can't show those.

Overwhelmed. It was nice to have time to breath and eat lunch yesterday & today.

:ROFLMAO: I love Illustrator, but that's funny!
  13. Join the BBB?

I suppose it could help people feel warm and fuzzy if the business is primarily an online thing, but otherwise it probably isn't going to translate to more business.
  14. Problems working with illustrator!!!!

Now I understand. What he wants to do can be done by selecting objects in a manner that is not the same as Corel. Select an object with the cursor, and hold shift and click on each additional object, or drag around an area of objects - but if they're already in a group you will have to release...
  15. Holy nighmare! Cleaning & greasing rails?

Yes. I've been using Mobile-1 synthetic grease. Seems to be working...
  16. Holy nighmare! Cleaning & greasing rails?

I use a rubber band to attach small pieces of a lint-free cloth to the round end of a large paper-clip bent to get in there.
  17. Problems working with illustrator!!!!

Hmmm.. I don't think I understand the problem. I have no problems with selecting objects in any manner. Groups or no groups. Sounds like there are groups within various masks or something due to being unfamiliar with Illy.
  18. Solvent Canvas Printing

+1 The only problem I've had was getting a 54" roll that didn't lay flat enough to print on without getting head strikes.
