  1. Could this be true?

^ Maybe. Maybe not. I don't know what context he was saying that in. I don't know if he meant, "Flexi sucks," or he meant, "Flexi is almost out of business." Maybe neither. He was trying to rep Signlab to me, so who knows. I'll find out more tonight.
  2. Could this be true?

I had a text conversation with a printer tech today. A direct quote = "Flexi is almost gone." I didn't pursue it any further. I'll be talking to him later this evening and I'll ask about it.
  3. Mounting Aluminum on Stucco Wall

I'd be very tempted to tell him I'd provide the sign but he'd have to arrange for his own installation.
  4. Mounting Aluminum on Stucco Wall

I've never done it with aluminum, but I had a customer instruct me to install a 4' x 4' mdo sign on a brick wall with Liquid Nails. It adhered so well they had to pull the mdo off in pieces when they moved. So I guess it would work with aluminum. My biggest concern is that the aluminum would be...
  5. Mounting Aluminum on Stucco Wall

Any of that stuff would do more damage to the wall than the screws the owner doesn't want.
  6. Does anyone recognize this font?

Everything but the Es look like Adonis Regular. Looks like they modified an F to make the Es. http://www.whatfontis.com/Adonais-Regular.font

  10. Dating idea

I opened this thread thinking it would help me with the ladies. I do agree that would be a good idea. It would benefit us, but at the expense of the manufacturers and distributors; that's why I doubt you'll ever see it.

  13. Thinking of buying the SignWarehouse Vehicle Wrap Kit

I don't know if it's becoming more common or not. My brother's first job in the sign industry was hand lettering banners and screenprinting in 1988 for Ashland Oil. They did all the signs in-house for Valvoline and their regional Speedway gas stations.
  14. Font help please

I'd say it is Coliseum that has been altered.
  15. Anyone know a good wholesaler for Flashing Arrow Sigh with Changeable Letters?

Yep. A lot of people try to put them just a few feet from the road, making it impossible to see.
  16. Anyone know a good wholesaler for Flashing Arrow Sigh with Changeable Letters?

BTW, I think they are illegal in many parts of the country because they become eyesores after a few months. They can also be fire hazards because they are typically connected to extension cords.
  17. Anyone know a good wholesaler for Flashing Arrow Sigh with Changeable Letters?

Where are you located? I know a guy based out of Bowling Green, KY, that travels around delivering them. I know he goes as for east as PA, NC and SC. If you are interested I will post his contact info. His signs are also 100x >>>> than Sam's. Sam's signs are flimsy and cheaply-built.
  18. Trailer Wrap gone Bad!!!

Yep, because rebuilding motor = replacing a few screws in an aluminum trailer. If you read the OP's post, even the manufacturer has conceded that removing and replacing the screws was not the problem.
