We e-mail invoices and prefer e-mailed invoices to us... Makes accounting work quicker and leaves less paper/files laying around as well as ensures that we get it- mail around here is sketchy.

it'll work over a VPN, it'll just be incredibly slow. the RDP server is your best bet, and should be able to be accomplished for under 1k. we used a VPN for a year, now I tunnel over ssh (using a linux server at my shop) to use my mac pro for quickbooks... MUCH faster.

ever used 4075-RLA r-tape conform series? we've used it for years after having humidity issues for customers that bought a 6-12 month supply... ended up using it nearly exclusively- it's really great tape.

i agree, mostly... gotta compare apples to apples though. printer #1 may be using crappy vinyl and cheap un-matched laminate. printer #2 may have no attention to detail, despite a glaring error (mis-cut, colors not matching, errors/contamination in print)... there are still plenty of variables.

i called, the rep was rude, i'm not going to deal with it... not enough time in the day. we've already switched and are 100% happy. same thing goes for all of our vendors- we recently switched vinyl vendors to a more expensive, smaller outfit... their customer service surpasses all other...

intuit is 2.5%+ fee for keyed, which is 99% of what we do. Add on 40$/mo in minimums/fees- not worth it. forgot to add- they either have a problem or just a problem with my bank- takes 3-5 days to fund. square takes 12-24 hours, paypal is instant enough at 24-48 or immediate with my paypal...

just cancelled intuit for a paypal/square setup- square is free, no minimums, unlimited readers, 2.75% fees- that's it. no monthly fee or cancellation fee either.
