for what you're doing, that's just an added cost... with one machine, use a usb drive for backup. alternate 2 of em, every friday- take one home with you... you could look into online backup as well (i suggest the first, not a fan of online backup)
That's a celeron with 1 gb ram and no operating system.
Take an old p4 system (or pick one up for 50 bucks), slap in a new hard drive and your performance numbers are similar.
what are you looking to accomplish?
it's a way to weed out tirekickers. if they're ready to spend 3k on a wrap and they're local, stopping by shouldn't be an issue. they should want to see your examples, look at the print up close, etc.
this... every sales rep i've spoken with has advised to replace em every 4-5 cartridges and include the head replacement in with the ink cost to make accounting and costing a bit easier. half of them advised cleaning them for a longer life like coloradosigns said.

measured mine, plotted out the measurements in corel... quick and easy- do the same! measurements are available on apple's sites for any size you dont have offhand.
simple example, remember sasser? it ran as a windows process... needed to be cleaned, not terminated. pro-active protection saves a LOT of time. If that takes an hour, is your time not better spent selling signs?
multiple references, and do a bit of digging on the manufacturer's website... something that looks a bit too 'web 2.0' may throw up a flag, generally a sign of a hastily built site (in a hurry for a reason!), companies that only sell one product are also a good example of a red flag... one more...
