I buy mine from MacMall.com. Great service and good prices. I'm currently looking at buying a new workstation and did a price comparison between the MacPro and a new Dell Precision, almost identical specs but the Mac was $800 less.
Got the same error with CS2, opened fine in Apple Preview. I then tried to place the image and I got this error: "Support for high-resolution DCS content is limited to non-transparent Host-Based separation workflows."
I'm a long time Flexi user and would love to be able to run it on my new macs. If SAi needs any more beta testers I would love to try it... I can't wait for the official release. When it is available will I be able to exchange one of my Windows versions for the Mac version or will I have to pay?

This is a GREAT!! sign craft article that explains the different tools that will help you. The tool I would use is called "Separate Overlap". It is located under > Effects | Combine | Separate Overlap.
I have had many, many, different laptops but I always keep coming back to apple. Now that the new ones have intel processors I don't need a pc laptop to run Flexi. I can just boot into windows or use parallels. Check out apple's website for more info.
I have a new MacBook Pro and love it. I dual boot between Mac OS 10 and Windows Vista. We have a server in our office so all the files are stored remotely. We also have a dedicated RIP server running VersaWorks so I can print wirelessly over the WiFi network in the office.
Has anyone ever used the Sign Tracker software? I found it online the other day (www.sign-tracker.com) and was wondering if it was a good buy. I'm looking for an estimation program for electric signs, mostly channel letters. This sign tracker software says it comes with pricing forms but I'm not...
