The reviews in the app store speak of office 2008 and all adobe versions (errors, slowdowns, etc) as well, which is what I have... Plus, like you mentioned as well- dropping rosetta support without warning was REALLY, REALLY stupid.

This! Also, did some digging... Lion drops rosetta support and there are a lot of complaints about MS Office and Photoshop being unusable... Office isn't so much of a problem since I never use it, but Photoshop is a dealbreaker. Also, if you have a uMBP- complaints about mouse gestures not...

Use r-tape blue, or high-tac perfectear. i've got a log of old PT we use only for holding graphics up... bought it for masking cut vinyl jobs about 5 years ago, and it's terrible... but works well for all-around 4" masking tape!

Unless it's a wholesale client specifying that they don't want laminate, we lam every print... especially since we're in FL. that sun is ridiculous.

A few here have it the same as what I do- downscale in RIP (Flexi in my case) or upsize in PerfectResize, then import into the graphics program of your choice.

The outline/stroke? I can see it clearly. imho, drop the image into illy/ps and use the wand to remove the extra whitespace.

middle ground- R-Tape has a blue screenprinter's tape that will stick tor quite a while and is still fairly easy to remove. we use it to adhere the release liner from laminate to the cores on our laminator... stuff's cheap (5-8$/roll) and sticks well to anything... even the slick side of release...
