  1. Home Made vinyl Rack

That is a really nice looking rack system. Our new office has walls with really thin metal studs. I might be a little too afraid to put too much weight on them.
  2. 4' x 8' alu-panel printed/laminated double sided.

I think I am going to set my prices at $440. single sided, $525 ds plus installation and design (for anything over basic text)
  3. 4' x 8' alu-panel printed/laminated double sided.

OK, thanks Heath Sign. I thought I was going to get shafted for being too high. I am mounting it on 3mm Alu panel that costs me $48. The print is basic (I could just cut vinyl) I will have to screw it into an angle iron frame. 20 min plus self tappers and washers. Replacing a sign, no...
  4. Honest opinion on Big Squeegee

Flame, why doesn't it hold a candle to a laminator? I plan to get one but mostly for ease of use... Is the quality of the laid down finished laminate different? and how? One vote for the laminator style 1 and one vote for the cradle.
  5. 4' x 8' alu-panel printed/laminated double sided.

Oh, mounted on Alu panel or Eco panel.
  6. 4' x 8' alu-panel printed/laminated double sided.

Sold one today: 4' x 8' printed on orocal and laminated. Basic text design, I will install, prob 20 minute inst and 2 mi drive. Double sided and laminated. I charged $500. but I think I would have charged the same if it was a pick-up. Just did the install to get the job. Is this price high...
  7. Honest opinion on Big Squeegee

Thanks guys. I know that I will buy a 50" tomorrow and I think I will buy a yard sign applicator. What I don't know is if I should buy the 50" laminator (type 1) or the new cradle type. Mostly printed orocal on Alu panel and to laminate.
  8. Honest opinion on Big Squeegee

I am setting aside to buy a laminator but until then I need to do something. I need to mount printed vinyl on 4' x 8's and I would like to apply printed pieces without masking. I know that the seller is on this site but I also think I will get the straight scoop. Everything has it's limitations.
  9. Static cling profile for xc-540

Thank you DO, I did push my heats up to 50 53 50 respectively and tried a generic vinyl profile. Wasn't perfect with my reverse type but glossy profile would probably put down a little less ink. Thanks!
  10. Howdy (well I am in TX)

I'm Sam with Salmon Eye Signworks in Amarillo, TX. I am new to the sign business. Many years ago I had a typesetting/offset printing business and used to sub out some signs and screen printing. My wife and I decided that we wanted to start something different for us. We purchased a Roland...
  11. Static cling profile for xc-540

Hi, need a profile for Static cling profile for xc-540. General formulations 208 to be specific. Their web site doesn't seem to have a profile for my exact roland.
  12. New Decal gallery slideshow on my blog

Oh I forgot my biggest question, what to charge? We charge separately for artwork but I have no idea how to charge for stickers. I am not looking for a time/materials/profit approach but more what the market will bear. What do people want to pay for decals?
  13. New Decal gallery slideshow on my blog

Mr Diaz, you have some great looking stickers. I am new to decals. I have a roland xc-540 and I am using illustrator. I was wondering you could pass on a few tips? What utility do you use to lay our multiples of your stickers? I have just been cutting and pasting; do you use some other...
