The AE60 does not have a cropmark sensor and therefore will be difficult to use as a "Contour Cutter" in combination with your Mimaki Pirnter. The other part of the puzzle that was not mentioned is what Software are you using to output to these devices?

I would recommend staying with the carts on the SP and agree with Large Format. Bulk on the higher speed units work well but do require a little "dialing in" and the extra maintenance costs. Going with bulk will save you $200 (give or take) per year after adding in the bulk cartridges cost...

Does the problem vary in different print modes/resolutions? Try to run at High Quality and compare to that of Standard.
