Maybe post the file so we can see it... the only thing I can think of, of the top of my head, is you say the object are stroked. strokes don't cut, they aren't actual vectors unless you can covert them to outlines.

the "F" in the middle looks like a claredon, with some very odd "modifications". the other letters, I'm not sure, but if your just recreating this, they would be simple to redraw. besides the a and f are modified anyway

just double checked, and I did find a 25' cable here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16812149012 and then I found this... http://www.unibrain.com/1394_products/cables/cables.htm so I guess you can go longer, but my guess is it's a gamble if it's going to work as well...

the longest firewire I've seen (without a repeater or booster) is about 15' - 16'. But you can get data errors if it's a low quality cable.

Can't seem to get this one. The closest I've gotten is Old Claude Regular identified at fonts.com. But it still isn't exact. If you can't tell from the scans, the edges of the type is distressed a little. any help is appreciated. Thanks

Well, they didn't have them at the store in hanover, but I found out there are other stores close buy. I'll have to try them, the thing that sucks is, the phone numbers for the stores is unlisted. Matthew - I did some research on this tablet. I found that lots of people are having problems...
