If you’re producing quality you don’t print wraps on a uv printer. You don’t get a perfectly smooth surface so laminating won’t be done well. The results are the same as if your autobody guy didn’t sand the bodywork before painting

I’m about to start selling 3rd party inks for every Mimaki printer and you don’t need to flush the inks. The inks are developed by extremely intelligent chemists and have never had a problem because the chemicals are the same.

I just finished training on an affordable Vanguard VR5 with only 2 heads and was able to set it up and build Onyx profile for it to run in High Speed Carriage and 2 pass to print 4x8 in 4 minutes!

Good points on maintennance. My customers who don’t have white clean under side of carriage on Monday mornings. The rest of the week they just do a nozzle print and usually don’t have to do a purge and wipe. One of my customers came up with a great way to flow white. On one job per day, usually...

I am replacing a CET 4x8 flatbed with a more modern Vanguard in Harrisburg, PA next week and I know the owner wants to unload it. I know it will be inexpensive but you will have to have a flatbed tow truck to pick it up. It works well, just too slow and has Ricoh Gen 4 heads and Mercury UV lamps...
