Like rick was saying. The best accuracy I've been able to get was doing a section of four at a time and profiling a small section of your spoilboard, like .015 or so the replacing your plaques on those sections.
Good Luck!
I know quite a few people who use the router. You just have to resurface your spoilboard before and make sure your z is accurate. In the future as I get into more ADA i'll probably get a small engraver for the tactile and braille.
But for now, I'm good!
Everyone who bought a table always wished they would have bought a bigger one like a 5'x10'. I'm in that same pool with my PRTAlpha 4x8. My friend sold his PRT and bought a 5'x10' PRTAlpha
K, wait I'm confused with to much inhalement of MDF sawdust today in a jr high classroom. Is the original 1st post v-carve engraved or beveled? I got some awsome bits if you want v-carving
That is so small, sign to bit comparison. It's wood So I wanna say they use a simple 90 deg v-carving bit for beveling, then did a area clearance after. How small is this sign?
Is the lettering wood too? Or is that tactile?

I have both (2)peecee and a (2)Mac. Any graphic work I do is solely on a mac. But unfortunely I have to use a peecee to run my router table and play the cool games online. I run LXI on my mac but that's basically Flexi. Also I do a different aspect of signs too. But I know if I had to do...
IF your the Eric I'm thinking of, Is it possible a "Steve" sent you that drawing to take up your whole day or week
Sometimes I think I just kill myself
One more important thing on Gatorfoam. When you cut it with a single flute spiral O bit, the direction in which you cut go is counter clockwise (conventional? That the name, I forget) you will get a better edge than going clockwise. Brainfart right now on the name
I thought about adding one to my CNC Router, But I have so many people with water jets around here in my area I can get stuff cut for $100-$125 per hour as I supply the materials. I found it best for my situation to sub out anything thicker than 1/2" on metals and anything like rock rather than...
