  1. Dry vs Wet Install & a thanks to iSign

Rapid Tac made a believer out of me. I did an install last week with some large frost panels and it went on great.
  2. Glass for top of work table?

Well in case you're interested..........I could not find any used 4' x 8' glass anywhere and I'm ready to get the tables built so I ordered 2 pieces of 1/2" 4' x 8' tempered with polished edges @ $337.16 each.....whew that's expensive.
  3. Glass for top of work table?

Cre8tive - I am going to use glass instead of the self healing mat for a couple of reasons. The mat is a major P.I.A. to get perfectly flat and I just don't want to deal with it but, the main reason is because when laying down laminate or mask by hand I wanted the smoothest surface possible...
  4. Glass for top of work table?

Thanks everyone......great advise...I had no idea about the stainless blades so I'm really glad I asked. Thanks Again.
  5. Glass for top of work table?

I read back through all the threads and was interested in putting glass on my new tables. My new work space is about finished and the tables will be the last thing I need to do before moving all my junk over there. My question is to the folks that use glass tops: What type of glass should I...
  6. Geocaching

Here's a great site: http://www.geocaching.com/ When you go to a Cache you are expected to take something and leave something. It could be another way to get business or offer promotions. And, it's a great way to get outside with the whole family being involved.
  7. Coro-Plane lift off Sunday

"There's Old pilots and there's Bold Pilots........But there ain't too many Old, Bold Pilots". Good luck fellas. I'm sure it's going to fly. Just be patient and do some crow hops down the runway before you decide to fly it around the patch. Have you thought about just offering building...
  8. So what is your hobby

I shoot things.........I love my cameras........but what really turns me on is my Kimber Grand Rapter 45. There's no better stress reliever than going out and blasting the crap out of stuff.
  9. Are we flying yet?

Now that would be a pity..............come on fellas.........what's the scoop?
  10. Are we flying yet?

I have not seen any posts about the coro plane recently. Did it fly on the 4th of July? What's the scoop guys?:help
  11. Industry Wide Price Increase on Garments

Yup! We got messages from all of our suppliers last week. It's definetly industry wide. I think a lot of it is "monkey see, monkey do".
  12. Wednesday Coro-Plane update. She's In!!

Hey Man...I just checked out the poop sheet on your power plant.....sweet! I'm betting your off the ground at around 40mph and around 100 feet of runway.
  13. Airplane wrap help

I'd say you would be fine. Now your just selling him a product for him to use. You don't have any control on how he will use the product so the liability falls on his shoulders.
  14. Airplane wrap help

Hey Jim...you are absolutely correct. It could go the way you described but, more than likely, it won’t. If the A & P agrees to sign off on the installation I think UCMJ22 will be O.K. Airplanes are a P.I.A. but working on them is not impossible. It really just takes a qualified person to look...
  15. Well, there goes the neighborhood.

Yea Pat.....I would call and order a bunch of blanks. And when they say it was a typo you can blast them for their quality control.
  16. Airplane wrap help

What you will be working on is definetly not an experimental aircraft. It might be an Ag-Cat or something similar that is certified to handle the weight of the chemicals. That being said.......the owner or pilot in charge of the aircraft will have to get YOUR installation signed-off by a...
  17. Do you think i'm "high"?

Hey Scar..I'm about 125 miles east of you and I'm a little more on the banner. I'm not sitting at my computer at work so I can't give a figure on the 2-sided and shouldn't do it here in the open.....I can tell you this.........last week a customer comes in and wants a lot of work done. I figure...
  18. Removing left behind Adhesive...

Goo-Gone @ Home Depot.......still gotta do a little rubbing though.
  19. Wednesday Coro-Plane update. She's In!!

What type of motor is that? Doesn't look like a Rotax. Very clean looking. I'm sure you have already but, be sure to do some reading on "crow-hops". It's a safe way to test airworthyness in the beginning. I built an airplane once and it was a blast to fly...wish I still had it.
  20. What Profiles do you use??

there is a Roland Users forum that may be able to assist and I'm pretty sure there is a place to download all of the Roland profiles. I'd say google it and you should get a good starting point. Hope this helps.
