I wish i could help you but i don't have SP or xc to compare it with. I know the VP is faster than SP though. The colors come out beautiful, i still print everything on the default setting and still good.

I bought my VP last month, runs great and fast with no issues so far.

You are right, this is exactly what i thought at first too but when i posted it on here and got more than one reply i looked again and it wasn't the Futura i was looking at, it's FUTURA MD BT.
