  1. Best price on Oracal 3751RA?

Seriously, I don't know if they want that to be public knowledge so please nobody go calling "them" up saying "Insignia's getting this price"... Not sure if they'd appreciate that or not. But it's a volume price, partly because we bought a lot of 180C from them the last few years and they're...
  2. Best price on Oracal 3751RA?

I wondered if it was right too but it's true... Not sure if they want me blasting it all over the place, but a cowboy hooked me up...
  3. Best price on Oracal 3751RA?

    I'm paying $445 for a 54x50. It's killer stuff at any price.
  4. Oracal 3551 profile & jv 33

It's not an Oracal profile but try Avery's profile for their MPI 2900 gloss, it's a 540x1080 6-pass profile. We end up using it on most calendered vinyls, we've yet to be able to write a better one. I've not tried it on the 3551 but it's worth a shot, it's given us great results.
  5. POS software

Signvox all the way. Mind bogglingly good and they may as well be giving it away for what little they charge for the functionality it includes.
  6. Why doesn't the GS6000 allow feeding backwards?

hahaha be my guest! But seriously it's true...
  7. It's come to this. Drumming up business

Good idea, I agree with Artbot though, there's no real attention-grabbing call to action on it, it's just more directional. Next one you do, give the design a bit more punch. I hate tacky bright flashy "SALE" signs, but they do get your attention and that's the point of a sign like that...
  8. Has anybody used PostCoats?

Over here it's a fairly competitive market and there have been more than a few cases where getting a sign out in a day or two (or a shorter timeframe than waiting for paint to dry in the shop) made our customer and us smell like roses. It's not every sign or the majority of them, but they do pop...
  9. Has anybody used PostCoats?

Gino, regardless of what this product is marketed for, I think it's real benefit is in being able to have a "quick and dirty" post ready to install in minutes. I'll keep using the example of realtors. I'm all for giving people quality, it's what we do, but realtors don't care if their white post...
  10. Has anybody used PostCoats?

Yeah, doubtfully too well, but honestly, a quick coat of white paint on a post doesn't hold up to it too well either...
  11. Has anybody used PostCoats?

Bumping this to the top... Ordered a roll of the PostCoats, came in a few days later, we just haven't had an opportunity to test it until now. Works more or less as advertised. If you're looking to make a high-end "nice" post for a high-dollar sign, this is not the solution. But if you need to...
  12. Why doesn't the GS6000 allow feeding backwards?

The GS6000 prints great but I'm fairly certain it was engineered by someone who has literally never used or seen a wide format printer...
  13. Why doesn't the GS6000 allow feeding backwards?

    god I hate this printer...
  14. Sign Vox - Amazing Product.

Yes, we use it on an Android tablet, works fine.
  15. You were right Fred

Ha! Just started watching it this morning, only through 3 episodes but so far I think it'll be a suitable replacement for my beloved 24, may it rest in peace.
  16. white acrylic faces with transluscent vinyl

    You're welcome Max!
  17. white acrylic faces with transluscent vinyl

I want to say it's the MPI 2050 translucent.
  18. white acrylic faces with transluscent vinyl

We stopped using the 3850 because of this, it's got an awful muddy yellow tint when lighted. We switched to Avery's translucent white (can't remember the number off the top of my head) and the results are much better.
  19. The dumbest thing i've ever heard...

I've never understood it either. I get it's purpose (woman-owned and/or minority owned) but I disagree with blatantly awarding someone a contract on that basis alone. Seems like a massive abuse of public money to me. If the WOB/MOB is qualified for it and they won the bid fair and square that's...
  20. Need a Merchant Member...Wide format dye sub

PM me for a fun little story about your friends in Indy... We've been using Orbus for our dye sub work lately, they're expensive too but the quality is good.
