yup-- that is the true speed I was getting. First banner was 14.5 minutes from the time I pushed print because the printer had to warm up....but the rest of the banners were 13 minutes a piece...
Just bought an HP 310 last week. Came with an issue where the ink lines were leaking due to a manufacturing problem. Tech came out and fixed it. Currently it is running great. Prints really fast and the canned profiles that come with it look great. I don't even think I need t make my own...
I was doing research on this before I purchased my new printer. Found that the best was actually getting a real bank loan.
Not sure what kind of printer you are looking for but I just purchased an HP 310 Latex printer for $12,995 and it rocks. Great printer and doesn't break the bank...
I've got a customer wanting me to put a border of flames on his truck. Where is a good source to get something already pre made like these...I'm really not in the mood for creating these...
HP tech came out and replaced the part that was leaking. HP was aware that they had an issue with the part. Once the part was replaced the printer has been working great. It is smoking fast....
Had our tech onsite yesterday installing our new 310. Powered it up and it printed great for about 10 feet of vinyl and suddenly stopped with a black ink leak error. Now we have an HP service tech having to come on site to replace some parts. Sounds like they are having a bunch of the same...
Also make sure to have your transparency flattener settings set correctly in Illustrator
Effect/Document Raster Effect menu in Illustrator --set to high res (300 dpi)
Thats an issue with Transparency. Transparency is needed in order to use the drop shadow. Where the drop shadow touches creates something called an atomic region, and that atomic region is interacting differently with the color (probably a spot color) where the element is vs where it is not. To...
I have a customer that wants me to scan (QTY 80) 15" x 15" scrapbook pages. Job is a scrapbook of someone in his family that was a famous baseball player and met presidents, and has has newspaper articles and pictures of events. He wants to make 4 books for his sons. Once we have the scans we...
I don't think your going to find a media for your aqueous printer -- I have a couple of Epson 9900's and have looked. LexJet.com carries lots of materials for your printer, but you won't find a window perf. Even if you did it will fade pretty quickly once left in the sun...
Epson aqueous...
Now comes the interesting part of getting it installed. Our shop is at our house -- we have a 900 foot gravel driveway. FedEx is bringing it on Thursday -- I have to offload it onto a trailer out on the highway and then move it down to to garage first...
Then we have to carry it into our loft...
To purchase my new HP 310 Latex printer.
Have a new Seal Laminator coming too...
After 5 years of using a Mutoh Falcon that I bought used its time to upgrade...feeling excited...
We are currently using two different commerce systems. Shopify.com and ecwid.com
The ecwid.com solution allows you to embed the shopping cart directly into your website. Shopify is stand alone. These options are only good for static print items like pre made shirts and decals. I have yet to...
We have been using Imprintable's Spectra Cut II product for years -- never any problems here...
Only time we use the Eco Film is when we have something really delicate to weed and we want to stick it back to the carrier if it starts to lift up.
Have a customer asking for 50 tear drop fabric banners. Haven't ever done these. Would be either doing on our latex printer or outsourcing.
Does anyone have advice on how to do these...Should I just outsource.
If outsource -- who would you suggest?
