210 is as glossy as 290. Just be aware it's a calendered intermediate-grade laminate, not a high-performance cast like the 290.

We do that regularly, but be aware, there is minimal UV protection with this method. If you want to get maximum fade resistance, print onto laminate instead of clear vinyl, or mount your clear print to laminate, and mount that to the acrylic.

Try 3M's IJ180C-10 profile, 540x1080 6-pass unidirectional, heat set at 40/40/50. By far the best print quality we get on IJ180, at other resolutions (especially 720x720) we'd get a lot of weird defects in the prints, but at 540x1080 they're always flawless.

I assume you're running 64 bit windows? Is the file CMYK or RGB. If you're in CMYK and you're confident about your color management settings, convert to RGB, that'll reduce the size somewhat. And seriously, reduce the resolution to 75. There is no discernible difference between that and 100dpi...

Yup, I thought the same thing! I don't know who did theirs, but 4over has done similar jobs for us. They can do the spot UV like DSW used. It's a nice catalog that's for sure.
