I give a vote for Grimco. Knowledgable people and I always get somebody on the phone that knows what I'm talking about. They are usually very fast also.
Just ask around for someone that has a brake that will work up to 16ga. Most brakes should be able to handle that piece of aluminum. There might be a tiny radius. I would find a metal shop. Not a HVAC shop because they can bend it but they bend for their own needs. A metal shop will have...
+1+1+1 for a break. That is what you will need to get your sign correct. Make sure the make up of your aluminum can handle being bent. A lot of aluminum will crack when you try to put a 90 on it.
I returned the file via email to you. I exported as a .eps You shouldn't have any issues opening it. If you do just let me know and we can try something else. But I got the file open no problem.
tell her you are unable to open and have her save out as .eps If she designed in PS or AI she should know how to save as an older format. Then you should be able to open it no problem.
Is screen print better. Yes it lasts a lot longer.
I believe though with a good material and the proper printing and contour cut. You can make shirts that look just as good.
Yes thank you very much Bob. This will help a lot. I didn't factor in cost of the heads, but that's not a bad idea to throw it in also. Then your accounting for almost all the cost, except electrical of running the printer to make our signs. Thanks very much again.
Thinking about an HP L360 and have a few questions...
1. The L310 and L330 are shipping with Flexi Cloud for a RIP, but the L360 isn't including a RIP. Why is that? Why don't they recommend Flexi Cloud for L360 as well?
They are assuming if you are going with the highest model that maybe your...
Yes the 360 prints faster in all modes. Also the only difference is not the onboard spectrometer for profiling. Neither the 310 or the 330 do double sided prints automatically. You can double sided print but you have to learn to line it up yourself. Also the 310 and the 330 don't come with...
I am trying to work up some production quotes for our owner. I want to give them a rough estimate of what it will cost to print all our own signs for inventory. I was hoping someone on here that operates a L360 or a 330 even, could give me ink usage for full coverage on a 1 sq/ft section...
Be careful what you are looking at. If you are reading all the info for the L25500 you have to take into account that the newer models. L300 series have a different ink makeup and use a ink additive to add durability and print quality.
One google search for gerber edge heat transfer and I get this
http://www.hyatts.com/sign/gerber-edge-lt-heat-transfer-3.420621
the second isn't a gerber material but they sell a punched roll.
