Yea I got it. Just started a month ago and nobody here knew. The previous shop manager loaded it for his own use. Now I am wondering what some other people are using and like. I'm not asking how much trouble we will get in. Thanks for your time.

Flawlessly? Is this possible. At my old shop we had a L25500 and had flexiPro and a Graphtec. I remember I used to Print with Flexi using Cutting Master Reg mark from Illustrator using flexi to print and then I used to have to cut using cutting master from illustrator. This was the only way...

  7. New owner means NEW EQUIPMENT! Need some advice...

Everyone can tell you what you should get or not but it depends on you. I would go with a HP Latex 360. It's a 64" printer so it can handle all your size needs for paneling ad what not. Since it's latex in comes off dry which means no waiting to laminate beause of out gassing. so you can put...

  10. Oil drips on L25500 _anyone has same issue?

It definetly looks like someone used way to much oil to lubricate the rods and the carriage. There are a couple different places you are supposed to lubricate during maintenance. The top bar, the bottom bar and next to the bottom bar, attached to the carriage rail are these little felt pads...

  12. Hp l360

spoke with almost every dealer at SGIA yesterday. They can't go below MRP so Price of the printer should be $17,995 without tax and the MRP for ink is $135 and that's the lowest you can buy for. The dealers are not allowed to sell below those prices for new or they loose their ability to be a...
  13. Can you find some deals on printers at the NBM show?

If the money was given out as a stipend or daily allowance for being out of town, Then its up to the person how they want to spend it. You could write off gambling if you want, just not directly.
  14. Poster paper "no parking" signs

So see how much it would be to sub to a screen shop. Maybe work a deal where you can bring that shop all your screen work in exchange for a reasonable price
  15. Best time to buy a printer??

If that is the Latex Mimaki stay away. Just got back from SGIA heard that Mimaki is having a lot a lot a lot of issuses way more then even the L25500. The only way to get a screaming deal now is demo or show units. Alot of the printer companies have put restrictions (MRP) that the dealers...
  16. How to apply a cut file not created in flexi

+1+1+1+1 good to know are you making reg. marks around every sticker? You should have 4 pinch rollers one has to be outside to right and one outside the marks on the left. If you do this you shouldn't be able to only cut one sticker. If it starts to cut you should be able to cut them all.
  17. How to apply a cut file not created in flexi

PS I have never been a fan of print and cut from flexi. I create everything in illustrator. output the print file as eps and print from flexi prod. manager and then use cutting master to cut from illustrator. I like it better. Cutting Master is a free download too I believe.
  18. How to register for a die cut?

Correct only the outside rollers need to be on the outside of print. If you are saving from illustrator why don't you just cut from illustrator.
  19. How to apply a cut file not created in flexi

    1. You can create an offset contour cut in flexi. Select what you want to cut, then click outline, on the tab that pops up change outline to contour and then change the offset to include your bleed. If you have the art already rasterized with a bleed on it. Then instead of contour select...
