Mine did the same. Check the dampers and pull them out and clean it. Also, can look on YouTube about how to use a syringe to flush cleaner through the head to unclog it. Mine ended up being too bad off and had to be replaced.

It probably won’t matter if you record or not since they’d have a fun time trying to get with Mimaki to be a licensed tech for them. If you’re not licensed and open that printer then it automatically voids the warranty. Hire the Mimaki certified and if anything fails me just did, you’re covered...

I use 8509 or 8508 laminate with my ij35c. Never had a problem yet. Get you a roll and try it to see if that fixes it.

I feel you. This is such an easy and profitable market people don’t tap into in the sign industry. I have seen online where people print it on a laserjet printer and put it on. Surely people with professional equipment could.

You need to check with your 3M supplier. They can get you like a sample chart for their colors
