Oops, yes I see "GrafxNetwork" Hmm, well I know there were several techs in that region let go this past year. Hopefully you find one close enough.
I will keep my ear to the ground for you.
Have you checked with Advantage Sign Supply out of Detroit? I know they service and sell Mimaki, and I think they have a tech within 2 hours from your location.
Of course Sasquatch and HamHands should keep their mitts off this area, however if your printhead is uncooperative, if you are careful and have common sense this method should be fine.
Clearly Artbot and myself use this method on occasion. As a former field service tech I have used this method...
Sometimes I will gently wipe the nozzle plate with cleaning solution and a lint free swab. Cleaning the cap can help create a tighter seal and help reprime those nozzles.
Smooth face "Key" banner from Grimco works extremely well. Ultraflex is good. In general I see more problems with the banner material that used to buckle on my solvent printers.
"Oh My" is right! Looks like the UPS paid for itself....get that replaced right away, you could have brown out issues in your area. (but I think you probably are already on it )
Depends on what kind of service contract they plan on purchasing with it.
All flatbed printers are high volume production machines. Parts wear out. Plus it helps to have a tech on speed dial that you don't have to pay by the hour.
I have heard that these machines are fairly reliable.
Ok, cure issues on this machine have been because I used the wrong profile for the material, or I selected a speed that the profile was not built for.
So the result is too much ink for the speed/heat ratio.
This usually can be fixed by right click the job in the cue and adjusting the "printer...
This unit is actually manufactured by Seiko, and the Power Control Board and Power Supply are susceptible to lightning just like Mutoh Mimaki and Roland.
This is not a part that usually fails on a Seiko.
eye4clr Wish I had one to sell you, all I have are cap parts and pumps. The upside is...
Why dont you elaborate?
"I dont like mayonnaise."
That doesnt give you a frame of reference, like when I was 8 I puked all over a block party because of potato salad that was left in the sun all afternoon.
Did I mention I don't like potato salad either?
See how informative that was...
