    Sounds like the extra dwell at the first 12" is overheating the media and releasing plasticizers preventing curing. Lowering the overall temp by 10% at a time until you get a good result is a good way to test. Also try increasing the airflow.

    No, the electricity bill here did not have any significant impact on the price per square foot. The amount of ink I was saving in cleaning and wasted material for nozzle checks in solvent makes the biggest difference.

    Well you are starting out by asking the right questions. The best thing to do is always be truthful with the customer. I try to print at no less than 150 ppi. Sometimes I come down to 72 ppi at full size. Notice I said "PPI" which is pixels per inch.

    I don't think there is an issue with 220 and 440 together in the same machine, there can be issues with 440 carts in some older Roland's that were designed to work with 220 carts.

    Think of "Liquid Paper" correction fluid. The white particles have to achieve an immense density in order to be useful in digital printing, which equals more pigment (titanium) + larger, heavier pigment particles = clogging all the time. White and metallic ink = PITA
