Awesome, luckily I have my trusty Gerber HS15 Plus! It may be dinosaur technology but it sure does cut nice straight long lines! Thanks for the help, I will check with Glantz!
Do they make frisket in a form that can be cut on a plotter? I am finding a bunch that is meant for hand-cut patterns, but not really anything in a 15" roll or even 24".
That's mainly what I was wanting to know, I figured it was just a "CYA" statement, but I wanted to make sure there wasn't something I was missing. I would hate to have failures on expensive graphics because of the laminate.
I am trying out a new polyester 10 year UV scratch resistant laminate. It sounds like the perfect match for fire apparatus graphics, but one thing is bothering me. The supplier said that it "may cause wrinkling and bubbling if put over vinyl" due to the vinyl shrinking and the polyester not...
Looks like Bookman Old Style
Edited to add the "BRICK" doesn't look like Bookman. I will try to check on that one when I get to my computer unless someone beats me to it.
I know all paint masks are "low tack" but I am needing the lowest tack possible. Does anyone have a recommendation for a very low tack paint mask that can be laid down on new vinyl that is still on the liner and then removed without pulling the vinyl off of the liner?
You are 100% right about that. Maybe the OP could post a picture of what they are looking for, it would be much easier to narrow down where they need to look if we knew what we were looking for.
Fred's Express Clipart site is great for fire department artwork (www.expresscliprt.com). Volume 1 and 2 of the Vector Mega Collection also have a lot of fire department graphics.
I have been mainly using Oralite 5600 and it has been great. I don't like the 5700, but the 5600 is very user friendly and prints great on the Edge. Other than the price I have no complaints about the 3M reflectives. I am big on using nothing but the best materials, and I will pay whatever it...
I needed some 1" 680 striping also, so I was on the phone with Graphitek and found out they sell by the yard. Thank you for the help though, I will keep Denco in mind if I need something in the future. It hurts every time I order 3M reflective, in my opinion it is way overpriced.
I need (1) yard of 24" blue 3M 680 reflective for a job I am working on, 15" would probably work also. Does anyone have some laying around I can buy or can you point me in the direction of someone that sells 3M reflective by the yard? Normally I don't mind buying full rolls but for whatever...
So after using an old version of Flexi for quite a while I bought the new Flexi Cloud. Unfortunately it hasn't been working that great. It crashes at least once a day and does some weird things, like when I copy and paste groups of objects it will randomly change some of the colors in the...
I guess it is pretty much impossible to find Rolco size these days, so I am in need of a substitute. I know One Shot quick size sucks, so what is everyone using now?
Thank you all for the help. My problem is I am using Flexi, so I don't have access to the features in Composer that tell you the Pantone colors. I think my best bet may be to print a sample and send it to the people doing the printing as Gino suggested, that way it's on them if they make a mistake.
Mostly limited space in my shop. But I almost never have a need for anything that wide. I do specialty work- fire apparatus graphics and metal fire helmet shields. I also do a little bit of truck lettering. I do not do banners, and rarely make any large signs. The printer I buy will spend most...
