  1. D750 Pro pausing when cutting

Hmm. It could be a problem with the driver still. But I don't know about that specific cable you're using. Maybe do some research on the cables and see if there are known driver issues? But before you do that, I'd try toying with the COM port settings. Specifically the Flow Control. (KEEP NOTE...
  2. Little upgrade to work table

I too was having issues trying to post an image today. Not sure what the problem is. File fits the limits.
  3. D750 Pro pausing when cutting

If you go to your "Device Manager" check under "Ports (COM & LPT)" Mine reads as "Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port (COM3)". Does yours match this? If it does, you may be able to fix it the way I did. Let me know.
  4. D750 Pro pausing when cutting

Had a very similar issue with the same model. The problem was the driver for the serial to usb cable. Found out I need to use an older driver than what Windows kept automatically installing. I had to trick it into using the older driver without updating it. My USB is an old "Cables to Go"...
  5. Tru vis VS. Versacamm?

Also in the marker for a new printer. The TrueVis is looking pretty nice overall. But the skeptic in me is wondering why you get more "TrueVis" ink for cheaper than the VersaCamm's "Eco Sol max2"? Does the TrueVis Consume more ink / produce more waste? Does anyone have evidence supporting or...
  6. Sorting your "Drops"?

I'm not sure if It's disorganization on my shops part, or if it's a common issue for everyone. Keeping track of various substrate drops. When we cut a 4'x8' down for a smaller sign, we can be left with a random size that gets filed into our growing mass of "small pieces". We've got 3 people...
  7. Old "Dead" Printer - What to do?

I appreciate all the replies. I guess we'll hang on to it for now. I'll have to look into listing it somewhere. We're in the Houston area if anyone reads this and is interested!
  8. Old "Dead" Printer - What to do?

I'm sure this is the right board for this, apologies if it's not. Brief background. At our shop we ran a Roland SP-300v close to nonstop from 2005-2012. In 2012 We decided to upgrade to a 54" for larger jobs (4'x8' prints, Yay) and to relieve the original printer. Well, the old printer gave...
  9. VENT - Things that annoy you in the print industry.

:Big Laugh I wish they were as amusing as any of those things. It's just a metal cup. I really don't get it. "It'll keep ice like, FOREVER!!!" ....cool, I guess? Random googling yielded this. Not my work, but pretty much the same kinda lame stuff
  10. VENT - Things that annoy you in the print industry.

Not sure if this is unique to my area, but "Custom Yeti Cups" have been all the rage for several months now. I just can't take many more of these customers. They want some over-the-top custom design, and of course, pay next to nothing. Because after all, "It's just a little sticker". Then...
  11. Cutting Master 3 not installing in Illustrator

Hey guys, similar situation here. Cutting master 3 won't install with CorelDraw X8 either. It's been this way for sometime now. I sent a message near the end of June to Graphtec and they told me is was gonna be August as well, and well, here we are now... Anyways, does anyone know of a...
