  1. FC9000 - Media lock issue

90% of what I do is print and cut... So I just press my thumb against the marks until they're in the channel and load that way. Get through a whole roll without any skew. I used to use it when I had to cut 48" x96" traffic signs on 48.25" material... But nowadays we don't do that.
  2. FC9000 - Media lock issue

You push it to get tension in the roll so it loads straight easily. I never use it, but that's it's intention
  3. US Tariffs, Sigh!

Didn't he have to Bailout farmers due to his Chinese tarrifs in the first term? I seem to recall them putting a tarrif on soy, and he had to give more bailout money to farmers than the tarrifs brought in.... And it destroyed the soy bean market.
  4. US Tariffs, Sigh!

By that logic, he's also had more bankrupt companies , defaulted on more payments than everyone in this forum combined.... So he's also the worst businessman than any of us. So what if the country goes the negative way instead of the positive? Even so... Should the country be run like a...
  5. US Tariffs, Sigh!

Pretty much this. Surprisingly, most of the back and fourth on here has been pretty civil.... but I've tried to stay out of it because it feels like for the most part, 1 side feels one thing, the other feels another... Those for the tarrifs have a bunch of news snippets parroting how it's...
  6. Chinese uv printer "Experience"

You have me going down the rabbit hole of uv printers again....
  7. Chinese uv printer "Experience"

12 x 18... Roughly. I know it's ironic, being Canadian, but they use metric and I can't remember! That's the downside... I wanted a 24x36 so I can print on standard 2rx36 Coro... But their machines are 60x90 cm, so roughly a quarter to half inch smaller.... They were going to custom...
  8. WIDE FORMAT PRINTERS NEED SERVICING IN SASKATOON,SASKATCHEWAN

I did check your work, but you ignored all concerns about the stolen art
  9. WIDE FORMAT PRINTERS NEED SERVICING IN SASKATOON,SASKATCHEWAN

Maybe produce your own products and take photos of them rather than rip off other print shops and slap your logo on it. https://beebanner.com/shop/fabric-pop-up-media-wall-with-frame/ - https://bigbanner.com.au/product/fabric-popup-wall-straight/ - Ripped off bigbanner (Not sure if theyre...
  10. WIDE FORMAT PRINTERS NEED SERVICING IN SASKATOON,SASKATCHEWAN

I love how you hijack a Saskatchewan thread... You post that you're the best printing services in Canada.... And then on your website you list "only available in these cities" and proceed to list a few ontario cities. $100 for Aframe with print.... $100 for a banner with print... I thought...
  11. US Tariffs, Sigh!

Unfortunately he's partially right. There's a few companies I know of in Canada that make hobby CNC's... 1 is paying the 25% Tarrif for their customers... another was, but recently stopped due to all the backlash they got about it. I don't think it's sustainable in the long run for companies...
  12. Wholesale for reflective with gloss coating

No one sell 30" reflective in your area by the yard? There are special laminates to use on UV prints.... UV prints are a bit raised (depending on the UV) so using regular laminate on a UV print is usually a no no, but we've done it before and it worked. It will leave a small air gap around...
  13. Which printer vendor has the best support?

Unfortunately None of the wholesalers on here deal with Canada, We only have sinalite with a canadian presence. and they take a week for shipping, and charge $40 to ship a few hundred business cards... $100+ to ship banners... And their pricing is pretty expensive. You guys have it lucky with...
  14. HP, why does the delivery time for spare parts take UP TO A MONTH?

Did they say which part you need? We have half a printer worth of spare parts, including the un-installed skid and a half of "upgrades" from the upgrade kit . maybe you're lucky and it's one we got :roflmao:
  15. Cutting is off slightly

Yes, and Onyx and then cutting Master there's an option where you're pretty much reverse printing, so it is reading the reflective material and then the black doesn't get read. It makes reading materials that are reflective and holographic very easy
  16. Cutting is off slightly

FC9000 doesn't need scotch tape - Use intermediate marks. How are you generating the marks? Print a mask around them if possible, it helps a lot with reflective. There is also different scan modes...reflective works best on scan mode 4.
  17. Cutting is off slightly

Is it always off in the vertical direction? Looks to me more like your tool is in the wrong blade holder, or your cut setting has the wrong tool set.. that's pretty much exactly the amount when it's in the wrong spot
  18. Looking for a colleague in Coquitlam with a Latex HP printer. Let's help each other! :)

In our area you can throw a rock and hit 5 techs. Within a 10 minute distance... We have Grimco, Nd graphics, Canadian sign supplies, Cansel... Probably even missing a few. I wont throw out names... but lets say theres a few in there that we wont touch because the service was less than...
  19. Looking for a colleague in Coquitlam with a Latex HP printer. Let's help each other! :)

Who's your supplier? Grimcos great... We're never down for long. There was 1 time we were down for a week and a half because the part was backordered and coming from china... But they overnight everything else and fix it their next available day, which is usually pretty quick. Do you have the...
  20. Looking for a colleague in Coquitlam with a Latex HP printer. Let's help each other! :)

I don't think you'll find someone who will do it for ink costs... There's lots more to factor in it than that. Have you looked at a wholesaler? Signboom is in Aldergrove area and they only do wholesale.... I find them a bit expensive, but they're still cheaper than retail. Any reason it has...
