According to Grimco, they said you just need to peel the liner and leave it air out overnight. I use briteline translucent with briteline wrapcast laminate and never had this problem. Also, I think you should be venting your signs. Put some louvers or something on there.
The in-law's design is good for a business card. 1/2" tall letters aren't readable on a yard sign, unless they are bolder and spaced out more. Even then it's going to be hard for a passer-by to read it. But I would do what the customer wants, just mention that it may be hard to read and let...
What features made you want to switch from 19? It's literally the same program that it's been since Windows 98. You could switch to Corel or Designer, they both have no subscriptions.
WELD-ON is for bonding acrylic to acrylic or some other plastic. Not for bonding to aluminum. I would recommend using stainless painted screws, or painted rivets. You could also try LEXEL clear adhesive, but I would still use at least a few mechanical fasteners just in case.
I have the weber one, and also a homemade one using a boom handle thru the tape roll, mounted between 2x4's with holes drilled in them. They both work the same.
