I can't think of a reason to save only a selection of a file and not the whole file. But if you want to save just part of what's on the screen, copy it, paste to new file and save that. Or you can export only a selection as an older version of FS. It will still open in newer versions.
So I've been off the site for several months (laid off at old job January, started at another company in March - finally have some time to get back on here). I like the new format!
H x W is what I have done for yeeeeeeears. I just recently started at another company, and guess what? They go by W x H on everything. So it's a slight adjustment but not a huge deal. I do also add H & W to measurements in drawings just to be more clear.

I've read this thread twice and haven't figured out why the thread is 2 pages long about a cheap vinyl. How bout call your suppliers and discuss what they offer and the costs? All you're gonna get here is " I use XXXXXX brand and I use YYYYYY brand." Do the work for yourself what all of us do...
Oh I've had that happen several times. Nothing you can do but restart the program. Flexi has some wonderful glitches. Always has, and I guess always will.
And if you do use a level, or measure from ground up, it only is level if the ground is 100% level. I can't tell you how many arguments there have been with employees AND customer about this.
We installed some trailer graphics for someone once. Your standard 6x12 box. Mostly all text. Of course...
