  1. Kerry testified before the House Foreign Affairs Oversight and Accountability Subcommittee

I believe the climate is in a warming trend and SOME is man-induced. But spending trillions to make us more dependent on other countries for energy is madness. We can't even start to get a handle of climate change until we embrace more nuclear. How much did temps on average drop during covid...
  2. Cutting ACM

We use a stomp shear--very clean cuts. Also have a panel saw for long cuts. In a pinch I've reverse mounted a saw blade and had pretty good results. Does leave a mess, and then I take a sanding block (80 grit) to knock down sharp edges.
  3. Need Help Sherwin Williams ProMar 200 Zero VOC Interior Latex paint - no stick!

I won't put any vinyl on any painted surface that hasn't been pretreated with Gardz (a Zinsser product). It's clear but can change the sheen of the wall somewhat.
  4. Envision 375 cutting issue

The only place you're supposed to keep lubricated are the "rails" that the cutting head travels on. If the ovalization is occuring in the y direction that could be the problem.
  5. Anyone recognize this font?

    Thank you very much!
  6. Anyone recognize this font?

I need to identify the script only. Thank you!
  7. Anyone recognize these 2 typestyles?

Both typestyles are "common". I had Rockwells with different weights and I couldn't get them to match. Palanquin weight was a bigger hassle. Didn't mean to take up your day.
  8. Anyone recognize these 2 typestyles?

Thankis for the quick response! I'll check them out.
  9. Anyone recognize these 2 typestyles?

I come close, but no luck.
  10. Question Discontinued - Quickbooks Premier Desktop -

Sorry, just saw your response. I'm using the "starter" package to save money. According to QB I have to use one of their templates (there are a few available). If I want a more custom invoice I've got to upgrade. I just take a pen and write the PO on the invoice when the client picks it up...
  11. Installing 14ft banner on square posts

Zip ties will eventually break. And I'd never recommend wind slits. I've done this before with stainless bands (Flags USA) and stainless steel brackets (Grimco has them). (I've mounted .080 parking signs this way--I didn't want to drill into metal posts.) I didn't want to pay for a banding...
  12. A new level of creepy

Good information about transitioning to a female--getting started with Facebook. My wife's been hinting I should try it (45 years of marriage). She says the heterosexual (oops, sorry--cisgender) thing hasn't been working for me lately (I'm 72). At least you aren't getting ads for "male...
  13. Hotel room sign manufacturers

Thank you! I will check them out.
  14. Hotel room sign manufacturers

I can't do Braille, and the design my client wants is beyond my capability. I've been cutting back the business anyway--retirement's just a few years away.
  15. Hotel room sign manufacturers

Anyone know of a wholesaler that can provide room number signs for hotels?
  16. Question Discontinued - Quickbooks Premier Desktop -

We tried 2 years ago to upgrade from desktop 2016 to 2021. QB said you couldn't, but we found a certified support company that sold it to us. Turns out it was a version being sold in Canada only. It worked fine (we're a small company and don't do taxes or payroll on it--just invoicing and...

Did not know that! Interesting. Thanks!
  18. Need font help

    Or maybe just the 1's?
  19. Need font help

that looks good, but it seems they're using a different type for the numbers.
