    Could be worn out pinch rollers, worn out blade holder or blade, grit rollers might need cleaned. Clean your pinch rollers with rubbing alcohol and make sure nothing is on the grit rollers. It's hard to tell if blade holder is worn out, besides to change it and see if it makes a difference.

    Just try sticking a piece of white reflective on the front of the metal tab, it might solve your problem easily. It helps the machine detect where the pinch roller is.

    Lay the paper on low pile carpet or cardboard, stand directly over the letter and press straight down. Or take the studs out, and cut short ones to help with marking.

    You're supposed to peel the scratch guard off and leave it air out for at least a day.

    I only used the letter 'R' to identify it. I think feeding it too many letters screws it up sometimes. I have better luck sometimes only using 1 or 2 distinct characters.

  17. Roland Truevis vg3 HELPPP!!

    Our SG did the same thing. Tried multiple cleanings and calibrations, various print settings and media, new ink. Perfect nozzle prints and heads looked perfectly clean. Certified Roland tech tried everything as well, but in the end, the only fix was to replace the head.
