    If the backing comes off at the end, the exposed glue may be sticking down before the squeegee gets to it. You might try putting a piece of masking tape over the end to attach the backing to the vinyl so it don't let go until the vinyl is laid to the end.

    You will get what you order. A 64" tool is 1 piece 64" long. If you want it in more pieces then you will need to order the lengths you want to add up to 64" plus the bar sets that link them together.
