It seems to be always like that. I hope that the new tools will be better received by distributors in Europe so they will be more available. None of the European distributors have ordered our products in the last 2 years.

The cradle on the 50" length laminator helps to give the tool rigidity. You do not need to mask a print if you install it with the Big Squeegee. You will need to mask areas that are irregular so that the tape will pick up edges. Edges on the trailing side do not need masking.

My European distributors have not ordered in some time. I have heard that the shipping costs are the biggest problem. I think the new tools will be a better fit for the world market.
The die for aluminum has now been submitted for construction. It will take about 30-60 days to get product. The aluminum version will be slightly heavier than the current tools.

Be aware that a used machine that has very little use will require a lot maintenance. Printers need to be used frequently to keep them in good shape. A used one may have dried up heads from the lack of use.
I plan to cover any part of the aluminum that could damage the print, However that is no guarantee that a corner will bump it. If the corners get covered, it will interfere with joining two lengths. The bending concern has been addressed and I'm pretty sure the grade of aluminum that we use...
