EPS files are not the most cross compatible format to use. Don't know why designers can't get that through their heads. Flat colors and eps is fine but gradients NO, NO, NO. 9 times out of 10 I can open in illustrator then save as pdf and then I can use it in corel.
I prefer width and height. a 4 x 8 sheet of coro would be 4'h x 8'w (landscape) or 4'w x 8'h (portrait) Have to make it dummy proof. is 3/4/200 March 4, 200 or April 3, 2000? That's why the military writes it as "3 Mar 2000" no confusion, no margin for error
Just me I guess
I'm gonna change my profession to Brain Surgeon. First thing I'll do is find that stupidity connector and snip it. I live within 3 miles of the shop yet still cannot leave the house without encountering stupidity in some way, shape or form!
That hammer that cost $150 dollars does nothing by itself. Now take that $15 Ace Hardware hammer in the right hand, or left for that matter. Now actually hit some nails. Gets the job done just the same.
Should be a way to adjust media feed. It's not unusual for longer prints to vary in size as media feed is "fickle" thing. Too much will cause longer prints and too little will cause shorter
We enjoyed going to high school football games when the boys were in school and watched many college and pro ball but something has killed it altogether for me and many others. There are many other things in life to enjoy and stay busy without sitting on the couch for hours. And from what I've...
I take it there are different text for each of those 100? If that's the case, what about a print merge whereby you create 1 that includes extra characters then using an excel spreadsheet to set the names. A separate cell for each character. Probably just as much trouble though.
Just spitballing...
Sorry if this has been covered already. Why is there not a "tension sensor" to PAUSE a print if a high rate of tension is detected from the take up reel. We've wasted a lot of material over this issue. 99% of roll media is glued to the core so you'll have 3 ft of material left on the roll but...
Bleeds can have there place but in order to maximized material usage such as a 4 x 8 sheet of coroplast one can fit 10ea 18 x 24 signs but not if there are bleeds involved. Any bleeds can easily be added on my end.
Don't know if it's a "rookie" mistake or many "schooled" artists are trained to embed the fonts instead of converting them. We re-iterate all the time when we're asked what type of we'd like. "pdf with fonts converted, no prepress marks or crop mark, and no bleeds" then we find out they have no...
