Although the only thing I have ever wrapped is a present, I agree that it is a mistake on the part of 3M to compete with the very same people that they are selling their material to. I agree with Ballpark's assessment of what 3M should do. I wonder if they are listening.

I know this is an old thread but thanks for all of the troubleshooting info. Upping the voltage to 5.15v solved the same problem for me. I picked it up used and they probably never used it much because it would stop in the middle of a print. Now it works great.

Just a thought if you think voltage fluxuations may be the problem. Try hooking the printer to a good UPS. It will filter and regulate the power. Tried it and got 1 good print, we'll see if it does more.
