Thanks all. Will get the machine back here (Which will be fun due to the Lock Down in the UK). I think the first thing to do is change the head cable and clean contacts of dried ink. Big issue here is the amount of time the machine has been inactive, as I have found this causes big issues. SC

Brilliant I have spares so can replace O rings. The last technician I had to it reckoned only ever replace the dampers if they were failing. I hate touching this part of the print head as damaging it can render me completley out of action. SC

So replacing just the top ones should be a lot easier than the bottom ones. It shouldn't need as much dismantling. Since we have gone into lockdown from today I will get some bearings ordered and install them next week. SC

So is it possible to just buy Eight 4x12x4mm bearings and install them into the existing carriers? I thought some of the lower ones are pressed or clipped in on a holder? Thanks SC

Well I tried to adjust the head height today and I cannot get anywhere near 1.3mm on low settings. Probably set at about 0.8-0.9mm . Is their away of lifting the head manually to a new datum point or is this due to my lower head bearings being worn? Thanks SC

Looking at my two pictures either side. The adjustment collars are a lot different height either side. Has something moved? SC

On my 1604 if the headheight is on its lowest setting it can touch the media . Can someone explain how to reset the head height to its correct height? Thanks SC

No one had this issue? The other signlab stations do it instantly (all stations are identical specification and software). SC

When exporting a file as a JPG/BMP it can take 5 minutes to do. Size is A4 @ 350dpi. Has anyone come up with this issue? It does this on a couple of our signlab stations. Thanks SC

No it wasn't a heavy coverage in fact it is a very light image. Most of the image is a very light grey scale. It was as if it had a magenta tinge to it.
