  1. Signs 365's website

How is this process fast? It is painful and very slow. We do a lot of yard sign orders where each one is different. S365's process now is tedious and prone to error (loading each file individually - can easily miss one or select one twice, etc). I love the convenience of ordering yard signs...
  2. Tabletop name plate holders

    JDS Industries, Johnson Plastics, Vista
  3. What gives w window graphics inside?

Are you sure exceptions were made for the others? Much more likely that the others just did not get permits.
  4. Question Signs365 fabric banners. Impressions?

Sorry about that, I stand corrected. I'll reach out for a sample
  5. Do you warranty your signs?????????????

If you are doing work for a construction project, better take a close look at the paperwork. You are likely guaranteeing your work for 5 years, whether you like it or not.
  6. Question Signs365 fabric banners. Impressions?

I would recommend Indy Imaging. They do dye sub fabric, which is nicer than sign365's UV printed type. I believe they are less expensive too.
  7. Cluster ....

Tex, I'm with you on this one. I lose a lot of jobs like this because my competitors often reuse. Only if I did the original job and am positive it will remove clean will I reuse.
  8. HP Latex + Built in Color calibration

Printing neutral grays is not the Latex's strong suit. I'm not a color management expert. I hired an expensive one to custom build profiles for our Latex. They worked pretty well, until the printer kicked them out and put back some kind of generic profile. Color management expert shrugged his...
  9. Arizona 550 XT Banding Issues

Our XT 550 just died a few months ago, but I remember solid deep blues like that being problematic. I believe there is a Quality Smooth mode that helped a lot.
  10. Nice Office Door Sign - Need some suggestions...

These kinds of projects can be such a waste of time. So much brainstorming and researching and designing for what, a $200 sign? I have been recommending customers that have requests like this, assuming they don’t find anything in our own photo galleries, to google search and find images online...
  11. Need supplier for thin VHB tape

Innotec in Wisconsin sells a variety of vhb tapes. But for what you are doing, I would recommend a thicker vhb tape. I would think you would want the extra thickness because of the curve. It's not like 0.5in acrylic is going to flex with the curve. Double it up with lexell and those letters...
  12. Large Frosted Plexi

A and C Plastics Laird Plastics Piedmont Polymershapes
  13. Glass, Lexan, Acrylic, Polycarbonate or other?

Lexan is just a brand of polycarbonate, FYI. I would recommend 1/2in acrylic. Use the wing toggles on the standoffs and corners only should be fine for the smaller ones. 6 or 8 standoffs for the largest size.
  14. Gerber Composer 6.5 to ONYX color issues

Composer is a terrible program to use for digital printing. It uses vinyls and fill colors, which can royally screw up your color. Since you have illustrator, I would recommend learning it to do your designing
  15. Hanging 2'x3' Corrugated Plastic Signs

Bubble-X is a nicer product than coro. Smooth surface, I believe it is opaque too. Price point is like $20/sheet.
  16. Anyone stop accepting credit cards?

Zoinks man, relax. This comment is veering WAY off topic. To the others that posted helpful advice, thank you. I suppose it is just a cost I need to absorb. I don't want to inconvenience customers or appear to be backwards.
  17. Anyone stop accepting credit cards?

I like this idea. Some kind of a cap. I had an argument with a customer wanting to pay for a $20k lighted sign with his cc. He just wanted the rewards, it was nothing to do with convenience. That is what irks me about cc. I really wished that day I did not accept them.
  18. Anyone stop accepting credit cards?

I am so tired of dealing with credit card processors. I feel like I am constantly getting hosed. I am considering to stop accepting credit cards. Our business has shifted a lot over the years to where we are not dealing with the general public very much. My annual fees are typically in the...
  19. Bug Tapatalk problems

I have an Android phone, Oreo version. The Tapatalk app is much friendlier to scroll through the forums with as opposed to using the browser. Browser works great on the PC, but not for the phone IMO.
  20. Does anybody use flat pricing for their vehicle wraps?

I see the merits of both sides here. As a busy salesperson/estimator, it would be nice to have some set pricing to quickly give estimates. Of course, there would need to be some very clear assumptions on the pricing. For me, the bigger communication gap with the customer seems to be explaining...
