my 2 year warantee is about to expire on my valuejet 54" printer...they want to sell me a new one for one yr and charge me $2500.00... any thoughts on this would be welcomed...thats a lot of bones to come up with...ps...printer is (knock on formika and wood) printing fine right now...its 2 yrs...

Yeeeaa. So u bought a 9 yr old set up used and paid 2k for it...doesn't sound like u even have written a business plan. Have no idea what your product should sell for but already bought ur magic 9 yr old setup for that product. Every sign shop around u is failing or extremely new...wonder why...

Mark if you buy a car does that give you the rights to manufaturering more cars t sell? You bought the car so you own the rights to make copies of it, that is the way your thing comes across to me! Or better yet if you buy a painting you can make copies of it to sell or give you your freinds...

Actually if u took your car in for a new tranny. You would pay for the labor to install and the parts themselves. So by that explanation ur saying if I paid u to install I can't let anybody else work on the tranny without paying u a license fee. Lol. Think about this from your cust...

correct me if im wrong, but this is a sign, not a logo...its a layout::munchie: which i consider vastly different from actual graphic design... if i was your customer and i paid you 90 min design time i better darn well get the art that i paid for... now if i was your customer and i paid you...

dude, just give them the files and send them on their way...they paid you to design it for them, they own it plain and simple... better to let them leave on a good note maybe they will come back... if you did the design for free, i would not give the file... mark galoob

does anybody know if there is a way to just rip a file to production manager without sending it to print... i have a big file and it always takes an hour to rip...i dont want to have to sit here for that long to let it rip, print enough then attach it to take up reel, i would like to rip it...

guys, i understand that this might be an additional source of revenue for you to market additional products to your customers...i can tell you from experience that this is way more trouble than its worth. there are SO many ways here that you can lose money doing this type of marketing for your...

I'm curious why you want to market to residential customers. Seems like a waste of resources since as a graphics shop your customers are businesses. Mark galoob

i hear you all doggin this piece of equipment now...but with they way computers are able to map 3d objects nowdays...this sort of thing is gonna put wrap shops out of business...someday... markgaloob
