AFAIK you will need to at least go to mild-solvent or latex if you don't want to over laminate. I use Latex for our canvas printing.

If it is canvas for aqueous pigment inks it will stick, but it won't be very durable or waterproof. It really needs an over laminate.

You are not going to be able to find what you want when printing with an aqueous printer.

For the finest detail print at 8 or 16 pass unidirectional using SAV Type. My personal favorite on my 700W is 16pUni6c120d60v190t.

Changing the vacuum will have no effect on other media preset setting. Changing the vacuum slightly will have no effect on print quality. Changing the vacuum a lot might cause banding in the direction on media travel. You will see it if it does and if it does back off the vacuum amount.

Make them replace the media from another batch. You can try to increase vacuum to see if that helps. Also is there a issue with humidity?

I have always been advised from HP Techs when there is problems related to firmware issues to download the firm and install from a USB thumb drive on reboot.

Did you install/reinstall the firmware from a USB thumb drive?

The problem is lack of calibration after a new printhead. Like I said before if the printer will no longer calibrate then you need to get it fixed or use the RIP, external Spectro, Linearize and create a new profile.

Yes you are correct so no need to avoid printing grays. Or build your file and set your RIP to use K only.

Then I would create a new media preset and not attempt to calibrate it with the printer. Then create a Linearization and Profile with your RIP.

Calibration/Re-Linearization and the create your own media profile on top of that and then Re-Calibrate/Re-Linearization especially when you need to hit grays.

So you are using both Flexi and Print Factory to print with. I am not surprise that the color doesn't match if your trying to match a color printed with Print Factory when printing with Flexi.
