For long cut jobs is there any way to set it so the take-up real works while actually cutting? I can't believe it would be this limited.
Changing the vacuum will have no effect on other media preset setting. Changing the vacuum slightly will have no effect on print quality. Changing the vacuum a lot might cause banding in the direction on media travel. You will see it if it does and if it does back off the vacuum amount.
I have always been advised from HP Techs when there is problems related to firmware issues to download the firm and install from a USB thumb drive on reboot.
The problem is lack of calibration after a new printhead. Like I said before if the printer will no longer calibrate then you need to get it fixed or use the RIP, external Spectro, Linearize and create a new profile.
Calibration/Re-Linearization and the create your own media profile on top of that and then Re-Calibrate/Re-Linearization especially when you need to hit grays.
So you are using both Flexi and Print Factory to print with. I am not surprise that the color doesn't match if your trying to match a color printed with Print Factory when printing with Flexi.
