  1. Gloss differential from Overcoat being a separate ink.

This has happened a number of times now. PDF sent with raster elements that does not have pure white beyond the edges. For yards signs I don't worry about but for POS stuff it looks crapy. Not real practical to try to add a 1% raster over the whole job so that OC prints over the whole job, or...
  2. Canva

I could give you a long story but I have already waisted way to much of my time dealing with Canva junk. That might have just sent me a pencil drawing instead of wasting their time in Canva for something they wanted printed which I had to recreate anyway. Already told them about Affinity...

  6. 700w OMAS / Printer feed help

Is it still under warranty? If so call HP. They will have you do a couple of tests. I have similar issue and when we ran a test I threw some kind of sensor error. Part are here now to replace next week.
  7. Magnetic media and HP 700W

I am beginning to wonder if I got a miss-labeled roll of .020 MuscleMag. Is the back shinny/glossy? Does the print surface crinkle? What I know at this point what with this magnet material what ever it is it will not feed in the 700W. It just slips on the grit roller no matter what setting...
  8. Magnetic media and HP 700W

Somewhere in this video the pinch roller pressure in mentioned.
  9. Magnetic media and HP 700W

I don't believe that is the case as there is a HP video out that states that the Fabric media setting has less pinch pressure. In a little if testing I have done so far it seams like PVC Banner may have more pitch roller pressure.
  10. Magnetic media and HP 700W

Yes I noticed that. I am beginning to wonder do the media types have different pinch roller pressure?
  11. Magnetic media and HP 700W

Are you guys using the curing platen covers? I have all the tension setting maxed out. I can feed forward ok with tension but backward it is no go. .020 MuscleMag
  12. Magnetic media and HP 700W

I was pulling it out the front but will have to try adding weights or attaching to the take-up.
  13. Magnetic media and HP 700W

The platens are plastic. That is not where the issue is.
  14. Magnetic media and HP 700W

I tried very 5 different combinations of input tension and it still slips. I don't think it is possible to run magnetic media in this printer. The metal that is in the feed path, especially the metal on the upper side which is on the bottom of the media is impossible not to attract the magnetic...
  15. Magnetic media and HP 700W

The user guide and HP videos says you should be able to print on magnetic media. The ones I have tried on the L360 had no feeding issues but on the 700W the feed rollers move but the media does not. I loaded the MuscleMag preset and that does the same thing with MuscleMag. Just sits there and...
  16. Need Help Color management with Flexi HP Basic & HP 310 questions.

Color will never match like that. Does Flexi have the ability to change output values? If so you can change one the CMYK builds to match the other one.
  17. Need Help Color management with Flexi HP Basic & HP 310 questions.

Make sure your rendering intent is the same to start with. Is the Vector spot or just a CMYK build?
  18. HP Latex 335 prints spotty

That looks like bad vinyl with plasticizer migration to the surface going on. Wipe an area off with alcohol and then do a print over that area. If the ink coalescing is gone then you will know. If you just received that roll then make them replace it. Possibly could be an optimizer printhead...
