When I got to the USA I was learning the same exact stuff that I learned 2 years ago in Russia in math and science. I basically wasted 2 years learning the same thing and then was back on grade level 2 years later before the US school was teaching stuff I havent seen yet

how many students does a public school teacher have? 7 classes of 30-40 per day? what maybe 200 students per teacher. 7 kids would be a breeze to handle compared to a class of 30+ my local school district is complaining that they are 678 teachers short for the upcoming year.

There are many resources to teach the more advanced subjects, homeschooling programs, tutors etc, going by a textbook. An average adult should be able to grasp and learn those subjects as they teach the child, stay one chapter ahead of the child
