I used to use the GF vinyls all the time but all at once they all seamed to have plasticizer migrations problem and are not really compatible with Latex ink any longer. So far GF201 hasn't given me any problem but all there other calendared vinyl has. Might have to check that 2030 once.
I have run into print jobs that just can not be printed with faster passes using CMYKcm that do not exhibit ink starvation because of HP s decision to only use one lc/lm print head. You just have to change or make a new media preset to get around this problem. Yes and it could be the lc/lm...
Looks like ink starvation on the light cyan. Slow it down by increasing inter-pass delay or create a new media preset and profile using CMYK only if you can live with the grain.
What pass number are you using?
It is amazing how the racists push this CRT crap to cover up their own racism. The same ones that always think they are better then everyone else and want the power to tell everyone else what to do and how to do it. Same ones that throw a fit as soon as electron integrity is talked about. They...
The K only input build needs to be removed from color management and assigned K only. If you RIP software is not capable of doing that then you are not going to be able to print it without a CMYK build. What RIP are you using?
Some banner media you just have to use the platen covers, but if you are still getting bunching with the platen covers then you vacuum is just set too high and or the heat is excessive.
With a spectro and your RIP you should be to Linearize and then create an ICC profile, without doing CLC on the printer. If your RIP supports the online Spectro you can try to use it.
If you can't adjust your Media Preset so that you can run a calibration then you might have doing a linearization when you create a new profile. Then at least you can rely on a re-linearization to bring your colors back in place.
Had some time to do a little diagnostic work on this to day. Discovered that SAi Cloud Connect was using software from artifylabs to connect so I went searching. Found three folders in the libraries of Catalina. So I replaced those in the Big Sur clean install. Opened the messenger app, went to...
The latest version of CM4 3.90 supports Illustrator 2021 and works fine for me on Catalina. Once you log into SAi you can update CM without having to login to SAi again.
I appears it is only affecting new installs or maybe I should say new logins to SAi on the 64bit only OSs. By guess there is some 32-bit code lerking in that process because it the (messenger app) just dumps. They told me that it was something to do with the SAi servers. So I am just not sure...
Good news. Just got a call back from Graphtec. They are aware of it. The problem they think is 64bit Mac OSs and the SAi servers. They expect a fix pretty soon so keep trying every couple of days.
