  1. Wraps are dead. My work is done.

The military has been playing around with that technology for about 10 years for obvious applications. In WWII - they used giant mirrors to do the same thing for tanks. You can even get a smaller mirror to take with you when you go hunting. you just squat down behind it and tilt the mirror...

I don't even know what that means... Color Management Group is doing built-in profiles for it and I get to play with it and try to break it in the meantime. Will post relevant updates as I am allowed.

  6. first time so be gentle with me

There are plenty of avenues on here for outsource options. My best advice would be to slot 3 months and go as hard as you can selling to whomever you deem and send it all out to merchant members and mark it up whatever percent you need. If at the end of those 3 months you haven't netted...
  7. Logo Critique

What is the name of the business? Is it really "Signs & Graphix"?
  8. Logo Critique

Didn't have time to read all of this so don't know if this has been said, but... both of them look like submissions from a high school graphics arts class where the only font available was helvetica or arial. Just kind of boring, but then again, so is FastSigns logo...

I am already looking to upgrade to the newer model 6x10 flatbed. Haven't had any major issues that I DIDN'T CAUSE in nearly 2 1/2 years. They are hiring service and support like crazy and will give you honest answers to your questions. I have called a few times at 2 in the morning when...

  13. Removeable rigid sign

How often can it be applied/removed/reapplied before it starts losing adhesion properties? the sign won't weigh that much itself, but you never know what dirt/dust is stuck on someone's walls.
  14. Removeable rigid sign

Yeah... that was the easy answer, but didn't know if there was an adhesive like you can mount to back of styrene that did the same thing
  15. Removeable rigid sign

Client is looking for 30" discs on 1/8" PVC that can be hung on painted drywall for events and press conferences at different locations and then removed with no adhesive residue left behind and then used again at a later date. Any suggestions for best way to handle this?
  16. Marriages Doubling Up

I must have missed where she got engaged. Congrats, but which one did she choose? I vacated the other thread when it got into the philosphical debate of discussing one's kills. Unless you have heard the bees buzzing by your head... you don't get to have an opinion on this is my feeling.
  17. Looking at the Jetrix 3015.

If I were Jetrix - I would have gone after the smaller regional dealers - much like CET has done... and gained wider coverage for my product. Tim can probably speak better of this than me. When DuPont launched the Cromaprint line - we decided to remain loyal to our main channel partner...
  18. Looking at the Jetrix 3015.

This printer has been out for almost 3 years and they don't even have 20 installed in the US. Their distribution channel is all wrong and the service and support is sparse due to the lack of installed units. The machine itself is very nice, but its overpriced for the market segment it resides...
