Not sure if it's your problem, but to clear preferences... From the start menu, go to the Flexi (or SAI) programs. Clear preferences from there

Bobby Can you clarify this even further. Why would I request a replacement dongle if I have a softkey. Is it a physical dongle like in the past that I could move from one machine to another ? Does it replace the softkey ?

The newest version doesn't require a physical dongle, but a key you type in, and then I think it goes online to validate it. I doubt what their telling you is legal... or would work

Pat, I would think it's printed on a flatbed. Since I don't have a flatbed and it's a very small order, I don't think that would be an option for me. So, I thought the next best option was to find the material they use ( I thought some type of cardboard stock) and mount my print to it. Sign...

Version 10 has the 2 colors you mentioned. Maybe you can get it from SAI... or copy over the swatch table from a version 10... not sure if it would work

Sorry to say, my test prints looked just like that twice in the past 6 years or so. Both times we had to replace the heads. The smaller the black text, the more noticeable the problem.

I think you should try it again. I think that version still uses a dongle, so it shouldn't care how many computers it's loaded onto. I don't think it can write to the install disk while installing to put some type of marker on it to indicate that it's been installed somewhere else. The dongle...
