What is the point of adding registration marks at the front and back of an edge fc print? Does that mean I can start the cut from either side of the roll when cutting on a Gerber envision 375?

Hello, in Omega I can send a test cut to the plottter and it will do a triangle and square around it. It’s a way to make sure my cut settings and knife are correct. Can that be done in SAI Flexi ? If so any video tutorials ?
