Fountain transparency's are my main concern, objects that only are transparent in certain areas. I just don't trust anything to read them correctly, at least PNG is usually a pretty acceptable quality and you know what you are getting.

Does adobe software exports gradients as gradients when exporting to a PDF? I thought all programs when writing to PDF made gradients either rasters or lots of small banded vectors. Haven't used adobe is years, i only use CorelDRAW

it auto-traces mostly fine, I'd just clean up the text which would probably take around 10-15 cleaning up and just auto-generate a new contour and tweak it where necessary its mainly text anyway not a logo

Most logos these days are pretty basic, using corels pen tool i can usually hand draw most logos within 10 minutes using the minimal amount of points. Yes i know the pen tool is weird but spend some time with it, get a feel for it, its so worth it.

Anti-aliasing, its usually an export option for raster data, it might interfere with the join.

divide it into 4 smaller images then tile them up as the finished image, you might need to turn of AA in rendering options to get it to join correctly. do a test print at scale of just where all the 4 corners meet and make sure the join will be fine and then print it for real.

you have a camm-1 you already have the best plotter, they are work horses they will run til the end of time.
