This machine is not for a TRUE sign shop. It's speed dictates that it is not a high volume machine. It's a kiosk or a fill in for a TRUE sign shop. Will the BN-20 replace my VP-540?...NO....not by a long shot. But will it free up my VP-540 to print my higher profit large format signage....YES...

Your missing the point.....the BN-20 is designed for a desktop footprint. It's a space conscious machine... the 2 machines your comparing this to would need the same footprint as a VP-300 from Roland...some shops or kiosks don't have that much room to spare. Some shops are also getting into...

I use laminate over the marks...then take a green scotchbrite and scuff the laminate til it gets really dull....works better than matte finish lam. GOOD LUCK

Kimoto is the ONLY brand in our shop period.We found it to be the best high saturation film out there.To make it waterproof if we are keeping it we just shooot some artist fixative(i.e. clear) over it.....good luck

Out here in Calif I get 350.00 per side...plus install time for 4x8 alu-panel signs.But we're over priced housing central...lol

Tough to beat an Epson 3000and FASTRip.....tried and true.....We have a VP-540 just for doing signs but we also use Solutions Opaque and Clear for T-shirts from time to time. But the Epson 3000 and our Epson R1900 (with all blacks and Accurip)smoke what the Roland and Flexi can do.....just my .02

Are you off of Bradshaw or the Elder Creek area?
