Same boat here... I have an old version thats just CS, no CS1, 3, 5 etc... According to Adobe CS2, is the oldest version you can use to upgrde to 5....

What is the difference between ""Load" and "Install" when you right click on a Font? There are both options... Neither seem to install the font... Do you have to reboot or close/open your applications, before they'll recognise the new fonts?

I agree with Fred and Derf on this... In fact I ran into the same problem when I 1st got LXI... Most newer stuff would not open...
